After the work is done, the fun begins. That’s when we use play as a reward. Our play usually takes the form of either team ball fetch, or hiking together in the woods.
Liberty and Sugar have been working together and playing together since Liberty was a young pup. They work individually, and we play together afterwards. It is a rewarding and enjoyable life for all of us. Old-fashioned Black and Tan English Shepherds are a versatile line of all-purpose farm dogs who are eager to please their owners and have an easy to flip on/off switch.
