When I think of beauty, and when I think of the history of our great nation, these dogs are what I see in my mind’s eye. My father and my grandfathers shed blood in this nation’s wars so I could pursue liberty and happiness. As did my own wife, who along with my father are both disabled veterans. To me, liberty and happiness are represented by Old-fashioned Black and Tan English Shepherds. The long-hunters, frontiersman and kaintucks brought these dogs with them as they settled across the Ohio Valley and points south. Defenders of life and homestead.
Featured is a photo of Sugar and Vixen. Vixen is nine months here. Sugar is a year and eight months. Sugar will come into standing heat in the next few days.
God Bless America.
