The men and women who enlist in the U.S. military go through two initial phases of training. In basic training, soldiers learn the fundamental discipline and skill set to function productively in military life. And then in advanced training, we learn the details of the specific job we’ll be performing during our enlistment.
The Natchez Trace Puppy Enrichment Academy is basic training for puppies. A preschool of sorts where the dogs’ first ten weeks of life are highly structured and planned to optimize learning and enrichment. Feedback from owners of dogs who attended the NTPEA is consistent and clear. These dogs can do more, sooner. They learn faster, seek challenges as opportunities, and carry a calm confidence with them into the next phase of their lives.
