I selected Liberty because I believe he possesses a balanced set of traits that I value.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He is people oriented. He passed the test for distractions and staying close to me on walks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He has a solid puppy recall from a significant distance, and mands when he arrives.<\/p>\n\n\n

He is submissive but playful to adults dog, without being overly “in your face.” <\/p>\n\n\n\n

On hikes, he explores in small areas but checks-in. He will occasionally go further, but recalls immediately.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He enters\/exits noisy vehicles well using a ramp.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He shows play drive and shows interest in my goat herd without backing down or showing fear.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He passes the eye test for structure when stacked and when running.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Overall, I find Liberty to be a balanced and manageable companion who will suit my lifestyle well and who will potentially serve as mate for Sugar.<\/p>\n\n\n \n \n
