48 Acre Sustainable Organic Farm, 2 houses, 3 wells

We have a very nice farm in Grenada, Ca off I5 near the OR border. Million dollar views. We are ranchers and what we do very well is sustainable organic farming, have been successful for over 30 years raising a great majority of our own food.

Here is what you get:

2001 Manufactured home, 4 bd, 2 ba, retreat, morning room, covered porch, living room, dining room, 1760 square feet. Needs paint throughout, all new carpet, some minor repairs.

1,000 square foot original home, it needs major repairs. Has two chimneys, wood stove.

Barn is non electric, very small and needs major repairs

This is an old dairy/farmstead. We have concentrated on making it feed us and our family, and have successfully created a sustainable farm that can feed two or more families easily with excess to sell. We will provide you with these sustainable attributes:

1. family milk cow, gentle, in a cow share program

            This will provide all the milk, cream, cheese, yogurt and even manure for garden. She

             can  feed seven families plus a couple of calves for meat

2. 10 goats for meat and milk, 9 does and one buck

            Goats provide meat, sausage, goat milk soap and lotions, easy to feed, great cheese

4. 25 chickens including meat and egg birds with a rooster

            Chickens will give excellent manure teas, feathers, gel, eggs, and meat. We will leave amixture of birds

5. fruit trees, young

            Peach, apple, plum, apricot, cherry, plus room for more

6. very large organic garden

            Includes asparagus bed, strawberry vertical garden with 250 plants, and about 100’ by 60’ of growing space. Excellent organic soil. easily feed 6 people year round with preserving.
